VCTC are pleased to share a milestone moment at our Sheffield clinic this week.

We have successfully dosed our first paediatric patients as part of our ongoing ultra-rare disease study.

Two young children - one local to Sheffield and one travelling from Denmark - received treatment at our Channing Hall location. This marks an exciting progression in a study that began with six adult participants.

VCTC Director of Global Operations, Dr Ann Church , said:

"It was great to welcome our paediatric patients and their families to our clinic this week, and we look forward to sharing their journey on this study over the coming months"
