About the Role
We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Research Physician to join our dynamic team at the forefront of innovative medical research. As an Entry-Level Clinical Research Physician, you will work alongside experienced clinical teams to conduct research studies that support the development of new treatments and therapies. This is an on-site role based at our UK research facilities, offering a supportive environment for professional growth and development. Some travel to additional sites may be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments of trial participants, including physical examinations and the review of medical histories.
- Monitor and document patient progress throughout clinical trials, ensuring accurate and timely data collection.
- Collaborate with the study team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and study protocols.
- Administer and oversee the preparation of investigational medicinal products (IMPs) to trial participants, ensuring safety and adherence to the protocol.
- Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams, including clinical research coordinators, investigators, and medical monitors, to ensure successful trial execution.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory submissions, ethical approvals, and clinical trial documentation.
- Provide medical input to study protocols, safety reports, and other clinical documents.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of research methodologies and best practices in clinical trials.
Qualifications and Experience
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree (must be fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice).
- A keen interest in clinical research and development.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with colleagues and participants.
- Previous experience in clinical research is desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is an advantage but full training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
